Thanks for the kind words, l think the rear door had been hit as its slightly mis aligned, good enough thou. Will repair the original so this will be good for now

So decided to cut out the rust and repair my original tailgate.

Realise the other night that the spotlights weren’t working and just assumed a bad connection. Decided to have a look today and found the fuse in the auxiliary fuse box under the bonneted had melted. One had melted before l got it but not exactly sure what happened here, possibly a high resistance
So thinking about replacing the small box with something else with maybe a couple of relays and fuses installed or just go for midi fuse holder assembly.

I have one of these New Era relays for the spotlights so going to wire that directly as it has its own fuses. Now just to work out the wiring
