i have the same set of rims. do you have issues with balacning the wheel? Mine seems to vibrate a little at higher speed after installing it on the car. Perhaps some Spigots is what is needed?

My car had 18" Stock but I now run 17" rims. What tires did you go with and what is your error % of the speedometer?

What color are your wheels? I like them a lot but think they are a pain to clean.

I think they are matte black but don't quote me on it. The color has probably faded due to heavy sunlight exposure here in UAE. They are identical to the color of my car right now, which is Metallic Grey.

They are a slightly more involved when it comes to cleaning but that's something I can live with. It really suits the car, the pictures don't do it much justice.

I was originally set on getting the 316's in 17x8 but just stumpled on some method 305's in 18x9 +25 for a solid price
I have no lift and was thinking 275/70/18 if I picked up the 305's

Any thoughts? Stick with the original idea for the 316's or pick up locally for a steal?

Update: I received the hub cap extenders and unfortunately, it doesn't fit my method 314. The extenders are slightly larger diameter than my center caps.
Just ordered some cap extenders before I read your post. Were you able to find something that works for the 314?

Got to put on the new shoes this past week!

- MR314
- 17" in Gloss Titanium +25
- Wildpeak 285/70 on stock suspension
- @prickly I ended up ordering the spacers and they fit - not sure if you received different ones. Need two per side so I'll have to order 2 more
- Haven't tried flexing to check for rub yet but this one won't be off-road much. Based on research I shouldn't have a problem but was skeptical with the offset

thank you for the update man. Do they align properly for you? Can you link me the item? I bought it and had it shipped to a friend in USA and then had it shipped from there to here. it costed me a lot more than USD5 but i only wanted it to work.

EDIT: My center caps also do not fit the spacers. The spacers are slightly larger than my center cap. I even called Method and send them pictures to verify my wheel. Are you able to measure dimensions of your center cap and spacers you got? I'll upload photors on next edit

@sco00ter Love the setup! Do you have any pictures of the Wheels/Tires at full lock and how it interacts with the fender/fender liner? I'm also trying to run these specs on a stock suspension (fully operational AHC) LX470. I don't feel like ditching the AHC for a 2" OME kit because it works so well.

Thanks!

Did you center caps fit on the rear wheels? I had to remove the metal spring on the spacer and line it up so it didn't hit the hub bolts - it was a tight fit by design so had to push it on pretty hard. Even with removing the metal spring under the spacer the center caps take a lot of force to move / spin in the wheel.

You can retain the AHC and raise it to sit higher. Check out the AHC thread's

It is not a problem to clean b/c you have car wash boys all over the place in UAE! I loved/ miss our car wash guys coming to the house and washing the car every other day for like $10.. Good times.

A little poke...may have liked +35better but I can live with it
nah .. that offset is perfect for 285/70. Looks great and the bronze on that river rock is a nice contrast

Wider tires is where you get into more of the “bro” stance

Plus the zero offset gives the wheel a little more of a deep dish vs flat face

No regrets

Hi! This setup looks great. Any chance you can elaborate on the specs of the wheels? Are they 17x7.5 +25?

Yup and thanks - they only offer the 17x7.5 +25 for the 5x150 on their site.

Let me know what else you want to know!

Just ordered another 2 center cap spacers and found a great deal on frontrunner roof rack to balance out the darker rims.
