Does anyone know how far a metal tech stinger is from the bumper to the stinger tip? What angle does the stinger sit in relationship to the bumper?
Thanks

you can make it as short or stick out as far as you like

if you can hold off till tomorrow i can tell you what mine sits at

No wories. Not doing anything till this weekend and it is easier to do than the cage. Thanks!

Like Cam said, this is one of those things you make to your own preference..

as long or a short as you like, and any angle you want...

there isn't any right or wrong on one of these..

Guess your right. I would like it to stick above my hood and still be able to support it to the front frame. I'll have to play with it.

Is it best to jrun two legs to the frame right in front of the grill or have it run throght the grill and attach closer to the motor mounts? I want it to be functional rather than for appearance.

We do have a longer version of the stinger. The one that is on my own personal 40 is the medium size one and you can easily make it sit above the hood.

The 19" supports that come with the stinger are more than plenty for support. Run them straight to the frame if you do not have the nose guard. If you have the nose guard I would weld the supports to that instead. That will create rigidity between the two for a very strong set up. You could run additional support from the nose guard to the frame for added strength.
