Propane has an Effective Octane of about 104. It is not a real octane rating, but a comparison.

I thought octane added all kinds of HP.. Just like the guys that run K&N air filter which is good for at least 30 rear wheel HP..

I am gonna hook up a leaf blower supercharger to my motor.. Should be good for an extra 100 hp.

I was thinking about putting some hub cap spinners on. Should give me an additional 1000hp

I'd be down for some Hollow Point induced prep and paint work....be back in a few weeks.

Not much prep is going into my rig. I decided not to paint it orange like the FZJ80 and FJC. My white trash side kicked in after having a 67' olive drab FJ40 in the shop. It will be getting the spray bomb treatment. Will have some minor prep work but thats about it.

Looks pretty nice. Now to sidetrack, how many hours roughly do you get out of that fork lift tank?

On 10 gallons I can do an entire full days worth of wheeling with some room to spare.

A Hollow Point and then half of a can of olive drab into a Fred Meyer bag does wonders for the quality of paint work on your 40

You know John I couldn't figure out what the hell you meant by Hallow Point till I actually read the brand of that energy drink.

No huffing yet. I'm gonna start stocking up on that stuff this week.

Hey LT got a question for ya. Which propane conversion did you use? I am thinking about doing it on my 74 that I've been working on since it's going to be trail only.
