so have you remedied the problem you had with your shackles in the rear yet?

and what did your final link dimensions end up at?

Not yet. I am going to be putting a FZJ80 axle in the rear so when I do that I will fix my shackle problem.

I will dig up my notes for the link dimensions.

I acquired a 1964 FJ45LV that I am modifying the piss out of... so my time has been invested into that vs my FJ40. I just need to shove the 80 axle under the rear and rebuild my FJ60 transfer case and call it good. I have a new propane set up from Propane Conversion Kits and it works great. Everything else has been holding up well minus blowing the seals in the arb air locker in the rear.

Lets see some fresher pics. Like with the bigger meats on. :flipoff2:

Yea I thought I deserved to be dug up. Since he does not do anything at the shop. :flipoff2:

Haha! Thats the way it was when I went out there last year to wheel Rubithon with Mark.

Well take a few pics man. Wait wheelin on a wednesday? Does Mark know about this? :flipoff2:

I beat he breaks his "NEW" 80 series rear end. If it is even under the truck yet. I hope he tooks some pics anyways.

So no pics LT? :flipoff2:

So... Anybody want to start making bets on what he breaks? :flipoff2:

Mark blew the top half of his radiator on the 80 series and my engine has a pretty good leak coming from the side of the block. Surprisingly I can go down the road at 55mph easily with a stroked 2f, 4.11s and 40" tires :grinpimp:

Is that the same radiator that we had probs with last year @ Rubithon? No surprise on the 2F. That thing was made to run without oil.

Old thread I know, but I was keen to see if the 40 has evolved any further at all or if ther ewere any more pics of it since this thread.
