I added a few fj25 scans to the literature page. there is an option in upper right corner to make big enough to read.

That article is a pretty good read. I'd like to see the VIN # of that 25, because if it's a '58 they went out of their way to make it look later.

I think I may steal this for a signature:
"The FJ25 is almost humorous in its simplicity, but therein lies its beauty."

How about a 1959 Crown Custom owner's manual?

Some parts are the same on the FJ25s

That car must have truly been a piece of junk. I'd buy one. Never knew it had the Bel Air style fuel filler.

AFAIK this is the only part that they had in common, I want one:

OHHH I just got the new land cruiser mag from France. Nice spread and article on that costa rican fj25. Sweet pics too. I'll have to get a high res scan for you all when I get back to colorado. It's actually the dec jan 2007 issue. Not really current but new for me since I only get them once a year.:grinpimp:

Hi John. i got a parts catlog , and it lists the side vent as PN FJ25 53209 and the hub cap RS 44115 . My book was printed in APRIL 1960. Ian.

I saw some parts catalogs have been referenced here.

Does someone already have these?

They were loaned to me when I said they'd be a resource I might be able to share. The first one is the full '67 catalog and the second is the '64 supplement.

Here's a couple pics from inside:

Is this info worth scanning and uploading, or is it already on microfiche, etc. somewhere?

Wes has them but someone forgot to give them back to him

Not I :p

These came from the owner/president of our dealership to the assistant service manager to me. The ASM has been the one in charge of semi-restoring the 1977 FJ40 we now have on our showroom floor.

We'll likely end up hanging these catalogs in a display cabinet in our parts department, they'll be there in case anyone needs them.

Just curious...will you Scan or make copies available?

I had considered doing the scan-to-PDF thing, but wasn't sure if there's the need, or if someone has online storage space available.
