Magnuson supercharger - coming back

I have an opportunity to get in on the early batch of superchargers being made - but I'm in CA, and I have an LX450, and Magnuson is telling me their CARB EO sticker is only for the Toyota LC's - not the Lexus LX450. Please tell me someone worked this out at some point over the years. Or am I just SFOL?

There was a guy making stickers…..
but he was making a turbo kit too and both seem like it’s no longer an option

That seems like a clerical thing that could be overcome with accurate data? Accept the petitioning body is a US gov agency 🙄

Or slap the sticker on the 450 hood and don’t look back.

Sounds like typical USGOV stupidity....

Or just buy mine now and skip the line…..

Comes with a ringed fan and sticker lol
And a broken in 1fz if you like.
Package deal will get you an OEM rad too.

Is that sticker specifically for a Lexus?

How much are you wanting for it ? Not interested in the broken Fz. I have another customer waiting one

The dozen or so pre-sale kits are sent!

Posted this photo in another thread, but thought I'd post it here too. New Magnusson SC installed!! Just got her back from Precision Land Cruisers with the SC installed along with a rebuilt engine and restored engine bay and some custom alterations - installation of an oil catch can so the PCV valve is not on boosted vacuum and routing of the wire harness along the back fire wall to keep it way from the engine heat. Still in the break-in stage. Can't wait to drive it in the mountains and see how she performs.

You should join Colorado Land Cruisers club on trail rides (assuming you're in the COS area).

Nice, Glad you took a pic while it's clean. Do you have a pic of your Catch can set up? Let us know how you like it after break in. I like mine and although not a huge gain, it's a gain I'll take.

I should have the SC catch can system on our web site in the next few weeks. I need to make 1 more tweak to the bracket before it goes into production.

I'm North a bit in Highlands Ranch. Would love to join a trail ride sometime.

Here are a couple of close ups. As I understand it, the catch-can isn't so much about gain and is more about not having boosted vacuum, which can cause increased wear on valves and gaskets.

Have a back country permit for an area outside of Moab in a couple of months. That will be the first off-road test. The real test will be after the snow melts off the mountain passes here in Colorado - can't wait to see how it performs on some high altitude off-road trails.
