I've talked to my brother in the States. He feels uneasy with that Friends and Family option. I can't force him.
Look, if it is only you trying to avoid PP charges, I still can support them by sending you a little bit more of the amount. Does that work for you?

I don’t know what year your 40 is? But there is also a round chromed version of the bezel (~’63-78) and an early extremely rare stamped Land Cruiser version as well (pre ~‘63) which some people had chromed. The pre ~’63 version wasn’t originally chromed. But looks good if that’s your thing.

Unfortunately I don’t. Just pics. Maybe someone else will chime in with a vendor. You’ll have to just get lucky on the early stamped Land Cruiser bezel. They aren’t made anymore and there are very limited numbers in circulation. You could also just take the bezel you have now and have it chromed at a electroplating company.

$300 for the two hinges and kick vents, plus $31 to ship USPS insured to a stateside address. Unlike the booster and heater, which were takeouts, the glovebox, hinges and vents have not been outside my shop since they were chromed…30 years ago!
