Those side steps are criminal. Otherwise it is a leap in the right direction.
If the GX550 is any guideline, those are probably legit sliders. So at least there's that

I just noticed this detail; looks like there is a trailer brake controller now on the LX:

Currently on the wait-list for a GX, but asked to get in on this too and decide once we actually get to drive both. Was leaning towards the GX but the full digital cluster, massaging seats, and OT package make this more attractive now. Hybrid system does not seem very useful at all. Additional weight and complexity with negligible gains (besides the HP/tq). Was really hoping for a face lift with a smaller grill for 2025!
Read my posts on the GX. You do NOT want that thing, it's garbage with paper thin sheet metal that will dent too easily, and the overall quality is trash.

Finally drove an LX a few weeks ago. Very impressive overall. They had a GX550 in the showroom that we checked out. You can immediately see and feel the difference in interior materials. Lots of hard plastic in the GX. Although I did not drive the GX I can imagine the difference in driving characteristics and I understand your point. As of now still waiting for 2025 LX 500/600 deliveries. I was told Jan-March.

Seeing the big power increase + MPG bump is really awesome. The hybrid system for TNGA-F is really paying off big for Toyota.

realistically power increased for non significant/same mpg as the hybrid system is different then their regular cars.

It's not my video, but I'm staying the course with my planned purchase of the LXOT; preferably the 2row version.
Nice. I may get one in the future as well.

I’ve been thinking that the small platform space behind the battery pack in the rear would make for an interesting fold out “tailgate”. Maybe 5-6 stackable “leaves” could pull out for a flat table/base.

Are any LX600 owners really wanting more hp? The battery is heavy, and a failure point. You can easily source much better rims and tires vs the OT version.

The shift knob is no longer analogue in the 700.

The F-Sport grill is way cooler.

My solution: aftermarket rims and tires on the LX600.

S/C 4.7 here. I always want more power. But the hybrid should allow for some incredibly low crawl ratios. I’m with you that F-Sport grill is better. But if you’re doing Dissent Armor anyways it won’t matter.

I’d take the 700OT and add Portals and beadlocks/38s with ultra high clearance bumpers. Etc.

Lord have mercy!

Where are you coming up with the fact that the battery is a “failure point?” Why? Where is your data to confirm that sealed battery is a failure point?

Assuming I get the 700 ot I have a deposit on I will seriously consider an fsport grill and I already have wheels I can transfer over.

And yes more power is better but my other 2 regular drivers are a race tuned deleted Powerstroke and a 750hp tuned and down/mid piped S63 coupe.
