Is it possible/ worth it to take trim from an LX and put it on my LC? I like the larger coverage on the bottom 3rd of the door.
I think "cladding" is the right word for it. The difference I can see is the bigger trim has more square holes for support brackets? Am I missing anything else or is this just dumb aesthetics? I attached some pictures below for reference.
My setup has the smaller thinner door trim but I'd prefer the bigger. Or... just paint the trim and bottom 1/3 to match and call it a day?

not unless you plan to make some holes in your LC door. Also, if youre in connecticut it will trap salt and water in there and rust worse than an LC

As stated you need to drill etc and it is a s*** job that could go wrong. Paint would give you the effect you are looking for and a much simpler solution
