Does anyone know what is the A1 - AMP-POW Amplifier control wire? That wire is not connected to anything. - CC3 Wiring Diagram - https://teyes.com/pages/cc3-wiring-diagram
I'm trying to figure out a way to reduce the volume of the head unit. Just one or two bars on the android unit is too much output from the amplifier.

Not sure if anyone ever helped with this but adjust your power conditioning settings in audio. I set mine to like 25 and turned my volume knob to just before you hear any background static and now my volume has to be set to around 20-25 for it to be a good amount of noise. Before, ten was too loud and I actually blew two speaker’s foam off lol

Has anyone noticed your car on Apple Maps or Google Maps that the avatar for your car flips around and basically goes haywire when you're sitting still at a light? Only after I start moving does it get its bearing right and not wig out.

I had to switch from using Apple Maps because it was slightly off. Example: when I was traveling down a road it would offset off the paved road, while Google map didnt do that. not sure if it's a function of the headunit or that of the app on the phone.

Well..... I installed the Soundstream Picasso Nano amp, Metra harness, etc, and I still have the most annoying constant high-frequency "eeeeeee" sound, as well as a slight fuzz. It's not crazy loud but noticeable when no music is playing, and the fact that it's still present is driving me crazy. I took out all the RCAs from the AMP, still happening, turned down all my gains, still happening. My only other thought is my power and ground amp wires aren't big enough (4.5mm/ 11gauge), my next step is to get an 8-gauge power and ground. My research is telling me its an amp issue, im just confused why the same setup has worked for others. Im stumped

Brian, I think I have the same thing you are describing. It's only noticeable with no sound on and the vehicle off. Once the engine is running the noise tends to muffle it. It hasn't bothered my much because I don't sit in the car without the engine running.

I have no original stereo components left, except the radio/head unit with tape deck.

Are you running the soundstream amp as well? My noise is noticeable even at idle or if I turn the sound off while I’m driving. Thought I was gonna have it fixed with the amp addition, it’s driving me crazy

I do not have the same amp. After going back to listen to the noise, my noise is not coming from the speakers, but from the truck itself. Like a feint whine from electrical systems. Sorry, I'm no help.

I have the same amp on an '04 LC and no noise, ran 4 gauge for power and ground so perhaps that's the issue?

I’m gonna switch the amp wires with thicker gauge tomorrow. I’m hoping that’s the issue. Can’t pinpoint anything else since it’s worked for so many other people with the same setup.

I think I may have a faulty amp…. Tried bigger ground wire. No change. Unhooked everything from the amp besides the power and ground and used a test speaker to test the signal. Still had the same high frequency noise. That makes me think I have a faulty amp.
