LS Swap motor mounts (1 Viewer)

This is a setup I came up with to use GM-style engine mount, Anchor part # 2909, found on virtually all GM trucks and SUV's equipped with LS-style engines from 1998 to about 2013. These are commonly found and a great mount to use for your swap. However, they can be tricky to use for your project because of their odd angles, so I made this kit to help with that. The sheet-metal components are laser-cut and press-brake bent from 3/16" steel. The middle raised section has the M10 nut welded for easy installation.
This kit provides the correct 1.5" engine offset to the driver's side of the vehicle so the transfer case stays in the correct left-to-right plane.

The next ones that are being made now have the frame stiffening plate extended 4" forwards to provide space for conversions using the NV4500 transmission or Ranger overdrive which require the engine to be located farther forwards in the engine bay.

I'm going to start these out at $200 shipped in the lower 48. Components will be shipped unwelded.

I designed a simple bracket for mounting the FJ62 T-case shifter to the 4l60 transmission. It keeps the original linkage in it’s place without modification. 5 minute install!
$40 shipped in US, includes 16mm nylock for shifter pivot stub.

I have two 40 swaps scheduled, haven’t decided what I will be doing yet. Going to take some creativity as the 40 frame rails are a lot narrower.

Unfortunately due to the current ridiculous material pricing I have to raise the pricing on the 60 series sets to $260, plus shipping. Sorry about that.

These have been pretty popular and I have sold almost 30 pairs now I think. I look forwards to getting my 40 and 80 kits done, hopefully ricing can come back down to sane numbers.

We are doing a 80 in the shop late February/march and will be installing the final revision of the 80 mount kit on that project. Hopefully I have the online store set up around that time as well for those as well as my other products like wire harness adapters, shifter brackets, etc. Im sure I will find plenty of other parts to market for 80 conversions on that one as it is the very popular Gen 3/auto setup.
