Oh and wanted to say LC is doing a great job. Amazing how far the club has come in 2 1/2 years. Crazy it has been that long. You guys have some really great members and some great leaders. We couldn't have pulled it off without your help.

Welcome to the club.
Just to let you know, we have a mud page down here also.
Easiest to link from our website.

Thank you for the welcome. I have no idea why it had all the * in my introduction. I just copied and pasted it to the website.

sounds like an iPhone issue with copy/paste function. Darn Apple.

Greg French,
Hello everyone. Mr. French and I ran into each oth er couple days*ago. I live here in Myrtle Beach and have five Fj's. I am fixing to go to Tennessee to pick up one maybe two if I in the bid on it. I travel allover to buy these things. I just got a 75 fj40 from Charleston and just restored the frame on it and fixing to do the tub. I am fixing to join the club and meet you guys. Here is a little back ground on me. I am 33 yrs old, have a great wife and four beautiful kids. Three boys and my little girl. I am a unlimited general contractor and also have had a Land Cruiser shop for fifteen years. Due to the economy I am not doing anything on the construction end so I am spending more time working and helping people in the shop. I do alot of fabrication, total restoration, sandblasting, paint , rhino, upholstery, disk breaks conversion, make body tubs, install Saginaw steering, and the vintage airconditioners. What I do mainly is buying Fj 's and*restoring them to sell. I am also a 32 degree Free Mason, York & Scottish Rite Mason, Knight Templar, and a Shriner.I will build some of these to sell to donate to the children in the hospitals. Well I do hope to meet you all and come to the meetings.

Thank you for your Time & Patience. Have a Blessed Day.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I am fixing to take a trip to Tennessee to pick up a fj. If any of you know where a fj is around here please let me know. Merry Christmas and I hope all of you have a Blessed Days infront of you.

New to Charleston. Looking for some good people.

Hey Everybody,

I just moved down to Charleston a couple months ago and bought my first Cruiser, something I had been wanting to do for a long time. The guy who sold it to me, Greg Ashcroft, up in Cary, NC, told me about you guys. I don't know where or how often you guys get together, but I'm down on Isle of Palms and would love to get together. Can't wait to meet everybody!

Nice to meet you! We just met today at Dbenke's house in Mt. Pleasant to work on Scott Johnson's FJ40. Sorry we missed you. Hope to meet ya soon. Check out the Low Country Forum under the clubhouse. CU later, Scott

Check us out on the Lowcountry forum. We are having our meeting in Myrtle Beach next month. If you don't want to drive, You can ride w/ me. Look me up, and I can meet you for lunch or something.

Hey, I just clicked on the link for the club website and it seems as though the registration has lapsed an Godaddy bought the domain name. That sucks. When is the meet in MB? I would love to get up there with the wife and meet you guys. Just need to know what day or days.

I would love to know when too. If I am off work I would love to come out and meet you all. I am fixing to put a large order in so I can get one of my fj up and running again. Does anyone know where I could buy a spring over kit for the axles? I have never done one yet. But I am fixing to sandblast my frame and bodytub this week and por 15 the frame. I have built a new frame with a saganaw front end that is on it. Lol my F250 tranny has give out on me again and instead of having the tranny rebuilt again for the third time I would rather get this fixed. If possible when you all are up here I would also like to join.

Our website has been down for a while. We finally got the domain back from our webmaster(?) who got all of the info and disapeared...
We also have a forum, spured off of this one.
Search lowcountry and it will come up. I'll try to link it, if I can remember how.

The meeting is Sat. Feb. 13th at the above mentioned location. Sparks Toyota on 501. A time will be set and should be announced on the Lowcountry website soon. One of the items on the agenda at the meeting will be hopefully updating the roster and getting the website back running along with email notification, registration for events, etc. Here is a link to the Upstate Cruisers website which will have all of the info for becoming a member, as Lowcountry is a sub-chapter of Upstate Cruisers.

Upstate Cruisers

Welcome, and we look forward to meeting you.

I'm waiting on a call back from Jamie (Sparks) before I set a time.

Tom welcome. Thats a nifty truck you got there and sure to be a fun one to continue to tinker on. I will say I was rather jealous of the 29 mpg as I followed him for 6hrs to OBX getting 9mpg in mine :(
