BJ40 for sale kinda close to my house.
Owner says its imported from Costa Rica, he is not the owner that imported it. Has decent paint job, but its a cheap one, i could see that they didn't remove the top so you can see the original color in the gap. i checked the known rust spots on rear fenders and there is some there that appears to be cleaned and covered( the entire under body is coated in something). I pushed against the decay area and it all felt solid. There was some 'fixed' rust under the steps, but the rockers looked solid. As normal the axles had some leakage around the wiper seals. The pinon on the front axle was leaking. The rear axle looked OK, didn't see a lot of leakage or wetness. The seals around all the windows were in poor shape especially the front little vent windows. The interior was also coated in same black stuff as the under body, it was locked so I really couldn't feel or look inside much.
He is asking $12k OBO. He said its been sitting there for a while and if he doesn't get a bite this week he will be bringing it to the deer camp to replace his bronco.
