Lose The Lexus Or Lose My Membership !!!!!!!!

As many know the Lexus is the only landcruiser sold new in Canada. We only get the sequioa thing that is nice but i would not want to venture to far in the deep muck with it. Although hard to imagine taking a $80,000 to 100,000 lexus into a grown in logging road. But I envy the guy with the solid walet and co-operative wife. DB

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said... Just want to give my personal thanks to all the TT guys and Slee!!! I'm speaking for the sub-25 year old crowd when I say that one day I hope to posses the knowledge and experience that a lot of guys on this board have. I have learned an infinite amout of cruiser knowledge from you all.

<Edit>By the way, forgot to renew my membership due to having recently moved. Called up Jacki, and she sent me the TT issue immediately in the mail, and I received it a few days later. Jacki...you're a real asset to the TLCA...keep up the good work!

Just saw this and wow what a dip s***! His sites are horrible. enough w/the negative.

I've been reading posts on this site for a while and what a resource! To all you guys/gals who contribute cheers! I never have access to much cruiser info where I live so most of my work is by trial and error. I've been into cruisers since the late 80's and have never looked back. I've had/have my own Toyota Truck/LC shop in 2 different towns over the past 10 yrs. and Toyota owners are by far the best folks to work for.
I appeciate this guys passion I just don't see how someone can be SOOOO ignorant, especially since he claims to be a LC purist.
I just rejoined the TLCA and my fist issue was the lexus one. I thought holy s***! some one has finally done it the lx470/100 series is of age. People like Cristo are pioneers in that they have the balls and $$ to do what he has done -hope to meet him next time I'm up there! The TLCA is so sweet that I'm buying my buddy a membership for his birthday!

Its too bad that we don't have a market for the utility LCs but if Toyota wants to give us another option for a LC it is better than no option! I personally wouldn't mind a LX450 for the cushness.
