Well, Here it is, Upon further inspection, I got a run on the hood, Only one buy its a drag...

Its an interesting paint so far, You can see what it does with and without a flash.
I did not sand after the primer, This may sound odd, But I wanted a little bit of a hammerite texture, Thats what I got, There was a bit more dust in the air as well, I have crap all over it, Oh well, If Im not happy tomorrow, I will see about sanding and adding a clear coat, BTW, The paint I used is a three part paint, It has the Paint, reducer and "wet look" enamel hardener, I did 3 coats of primer and 3 paint.

its a trans cooler out of an FZJ80 radiator, When I had mine replaced in2004, I asked for the old one back, When I tore it apart, I found it, Decided to use it here.

So I decided I was going to repaint it, I asked my friend who use to paint vehicles, He said just give it a wet sand with 1000 grit or higher just to rought it up and give it a good coat, I did so and Im much happier with the turn out, I also did a little research on adjusting my siphon sprayer.
I also decided I would add a little accent to the paint.
I hope you enjoy, cuz I like My wife even said Im a bit happier this after noon

Little update...

I have been wiring the vehicle and have gotten the front 90% wired I just need to hook up the turn signals, Im using an EZ wiring kit and soldering all the stock connectors.

Ive been working on the rear tire carrier and decided to upgrade tail lights from the trailer/Heep lights I was using, I know my 7 year old tire carrier isnt the most beautiful thing to look at, But it works

Things are coming along, Im hoping for a late July early Aug. finish date...We shall see...

the last few days have been a little busy, So I didnt accomplish quite what I wanted to, But here is a little update...
Lights purchased from Kurt, I built the light guards, I still need to repaint the tire rack.

Oh boy! look at all that over spray....
I also finished the wiring(fingers crossed) of all the exterior lights and most of the engine compartment.

Just a few more items from this long weekend...

Everyone NEEDs Fuel injection right?!?
I still need to tune it and add a relay or two, But it at least runs

Some new exhaust, I was going to try to build my own, But I am running out of time.

Last bun certainly not least, Sliders! I think I should put a few gussets in there.
