Doubt what is true? That they are Chinese rods with high mark up? That has already been shown time and time again. You can get the same rods as on lextreme.com from eBay. Many people have had quality control issues with them. If you are looking for cheap rods the minimum I would use would be the eagle rods for the uz platform.
