Looking for any good literature on the history of the FJ40 (and other FJ series as well). Most of what I have found is from Wikipedia or YouTube. Basically small tidbits of information or short YouTube videos. These are cool, but I want to dig deeper.
Surely there has to be information on the design, units sold, heritage, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I bought Alexander Wohlfarth's "the Land Cruiser Legend" on Amazon a year ago. It gives a nice general overview of the history of LCs. Not really a super detailed technical book but serves as a good intro for production years and traces model changes quite well.

Taco,

As far as literature, I don't know, but......

Google is your friend.....who needs school when there's Google . (I really don't buy into that philosophy!!)

Toyota Global Site | Land Cruiser

******I really like this one below, I think it came out of TLCA's "Trails" an article on the history as it will give changes made and in what year. (That reminds me, I need to renew my subscription!!) I find myself searching for this one and going back to reread it every now and then.

Then LAST BUT MOST CERTAINLY NOT LEAST...................

Cyber STALK Johnnyc ON HERE. JohnnyC

He has more photos, data, & brain sludge on Land Cruisers than any one man should ever been allowed to acquire. There are some others out there that have a lot of literature/data.

Oh....I might add it's Friday night and I'm supposed to be taking my wife out to dinner and I'm trolling 40 Porn on this site?????

Rust brain link is very informative
