Not a bad call on the diff drop. The CV can only be stronger with less wear running lower angles. Not sure it's absolutely needed as total droop is the same as previous, but again, it's a good preventative measure.

IIRC, the limits of max CV down angle is something like 26° - 27° before internal binding. But it will already be less strong before those angles. IIRC, the last time I measured with full droop, I was at about 23°? I'll need to check my memory on this.

Did UCA's yesterday along with a added 1/2" to sensor adjustment for about 1" of lift. I this morning my center diff lock is flashing and can't to select 4lo. Is there anything in the front end that could have been affected by the installation of my new axles or UCA's ? The added lift may be a bit more then I want and feel the added hydraulic pressure. May drop it down just a bit and see how she feels.

Maybe take a look at your abs / wheel speed sensor and make sure you didn’t damage it.

Otherwise it could be a coincidence. The CDL is really cranky when it’s cold in my experience.

I think the center diff lock flashing is coincidence. It's the common when the whether gets cold

As for the lift/hydraulic pressure, is what you're feeling as stiffer only inAHC H? Remind me if your AHC globes are refreshed? If they are, I suspect the harshness is not so much from pressure , rather down travel is now limited and you're feeling the effects of the suspension drooping out?

Fixed itself! Think it's the usual sticky issues for not being used most of its life.

I was wondering what you think about the e&e off road lower rear shock mounts and if it would cause and issues with AHC pressure or spring pre load ?? I have stock rear springs, Wescott spacers and e&e lower shock mounts, max sensor and my AHC struggles to achieve High when I load my rig. Even just with my 300lb Yamaha TW200 on the back.

If anything, your spacer is helping you. But 300lbs that far behind the rear axle is a lot more weight on the axle than 300lbs. That combined with a max sensor lift and you are probably asking too much of the AHC system. Also, just from that picture, i see you have an aftermarket rear bumper and that rack holding the bike are all contributing.

Also, just from that picture, i see you have an aftermarket rear bumper and that rack holding the bike are all contributing.

I was considering replacing the rear springs with new factory ones as I have 225k miles and a 2008. Does that make any sense or should I look for a heavier spring ?

I'm running the Terrain Tamer TTCS-2168 rear springs and haven't had issues. I have a rear bumper, fridge, battery, drawers + gear.

E&Es rear lower shock mounts are the ticket but don't completely help as it's not pre-loading the spring. The Wescott rear spacer (I think 30mm?) is what's doign most of the pre-load help. To @lx200inAR 's point, it's asking a lot from the system and with the cantilevered weight which is transferring a substantial additional amount of weight from the front to rear axle.

New spring could potentially help.

Alternatively, if you can shorten the hitch carrier so it's closer to the vehicle will also help.

Are you running the TT Springs with any preload spacer, sensor lift or tech stream adjustment ? I was wondering if I should go with a heavier spring or air bags as TeCKis300 did as I don't carry this load all of the time.

Sensor lift but no preload spacer or tech stream adjustment. Will be doing EE's shock spacer in the near future.

So you think I am better with the TT Springs over air bags as you have done ? I carry 400-700 added pounds on a trip and was thinking new springs and air bags may be the ticket.

If I'm camping/off-roading I'll have all my camping gear (tent, sleeping bags, cooking stuff, water, etc) and don't feel any differences really. I've towed a 5k travel trailer before with no issues. I've never been unloaded like stock since I mentioned I always have my drawers (with tools and recovery), fridge, battery, rear bumper. With the TT springs and AHC it always keeps the LX leveled. Prior to the TT springs sometimes the AHC wouldn't go into high.

I removed third row and have drawers loaded w tools, recovery and jack, roof rack, awning, water, rear dissent bumper w/no swings etc.. When I do a trip I carry everything you do and sometimes add my bike (275 lbs). Sounds like similar to you without the Moto and works well.

Talking with TT about springs and they said they make 4 different 200 series springs. Three for different weights and the fourth is progressive. Your spring is for the 100 series but and I think longer for more lift. Did you already go through this same decision making process ?

From my understanding the TT springs for the 100 series was made for the 100 series and AHC. Which is why I went with that one. I don't think anyone has put non-AHC springs in an AHC 200 series. Will the other 4 different 200 series springs work with AHC? Not sure if they are willing but if you could ask for the spring rate for the 100 series AHC and 3 non-progressive 200 series springs that would be useful.
