So, I hate to ask but are you crazies still planning to go out to camp in what is potentially some pretty bad weather?

Asking for a friend.
Don’t tell me you’re scared of a little rain brother? Can I count on you to rig my tent?

I'm not scared lol, I'm camping in the cruiser so i go where the cruiser goes :), plus i get to have a little fun in the mud with the cruiser

I'm likely out...I don't mind camping in bad weather, and love wheeling in traditional early 2000ish GSMTR torrential downpour rain, but need to make sure that the homestead is secured. I need to get some batteries in the military truck and then make sure the 80 is ready for the storms.

^^ Oh by the way, I was going to post up how I have a wedding at the house and I probably can't stay late or even go. .. . now I feel like a big pansy for saying it, so I have to think up some other excuse . . . .maybe the wedding will get cancelled :) - - - wait a minute, then I have no excuse :)

Ok guys, I just got a call from Donald at the USFS to advise that Thursday at 2PM they will be closing the forest. Sadly, that means that Logan’s Run 2018 for this weekend will have to be postponed. With that said, we are currently looking at alternative dates and even other venues if needed as we are still going to make LR2018 happen. I know there are going to be a lot of questions and we’ll do our best to answer them. I do ask that everyone try and give us a few days to work out alternative arrangements before contacting us with questions. If you have a question that needs immediate attention please do not hesitate to contact us. Our mission is to find a solution that will best serve you guys and the spirit of the event. Despite the storm we are STILL looking forward to a great LR2018.

Thanks for your understanding,

Thanks for your understanding,

While not the news any of us were hoping to hear...makes complete rational sense.

More time to baseline Georgine. It will come together. Only timing belt and heater T's before I trust her. See you guys at the rescheduled Logan's Run 2018.

Brit informed me she was on call this weekend. I was so set on camping and going to LR I was gonna bring the baby. Well, More time for Bernie love. Tcase parts and manual hubs are en-route from down under, maybe Ill have them installed by the rescheduled date.

This is how I feel about this weekends postponement. We were really looking forward to seeing everyone and showing off my new Hundy.
I do believe it was the right decision made by the NFS. The ground is saturated now and combine that with the hurricanes rain and wind, group camp could be littered with fallen pine trees. Would definitely be a dangerous time to be camping in the URE's. Everyone keep safe, especially our coastal folks!
