Nope, it's a hijack.
E-locker? What's that?
But I bet this question has been asked, once, in 80 tech.
This is the Pig sty, we poke fun at 80s here...

Hope this isn't hijacking, but my 92 FJ80 did not have the factory front/rear lockers as an option, just the center lock. I would like to lock my rear and am considering options.

Can I use a Toyota E-locker on the rear in the 92 FJ80?
Why shouldn't I do it, if I can?

Advice appreciated.

Speaking of hijack-

BK- you should swing by if you hit the swine-o-rama. We can fish the backside of the dam or ox-bow bend and put pack some frosties.

Please return to your locker, welded, selectable, 80 bashing festival.

I have a feeling I shouldn't trust some of you people to pick the trail........ :D -Josh

Help. They are bashing my 80 that I bought just for the JH winters. Got it from Cowboy Motors "pre-owned" lot. You probably know the ex-owners of my FJ, but there name slips my mind. She, the wife, drove it from Wilson to St. John's each day. She is a nurse there. Apparently her driveway was a bit difficult as the Service records indicate the PS rear taillight assembly was replaced twice. Probably backed into her stacked snow

Heard your having a great winter snowfall. Too bad I'm not there.

To all you bashers - :flipoff2:

Yes, it's been a great winter. We had 400 inches by February. It's going to be a great summer for highland wildflowers and fishing. Pretty soon I MIGHT have a driveway again:D . It's posthole central around here right now; everywhere you go you sink to the waist.

I was really worried that the aussie in the rear of my Pig would make driving in WY dangerous, but unlike my pickup, there is enough weight in the back that there is NO kick from the locker going around corners or sliding out in snow. I can't believe how easily it unlocks when its supposed to. It makes snow driving easy and when everyone else is spinning tires on the snow in 4wheel drive, I can cruise by in 2. I think for the rear, lunchboxes are the best way to go. I would never go welded in the rear cuz I like turning and not spinning out or wearing out my tires and its nice to be locked all the time. For the front I would only go selectable though because turning is hard enough with the open diff.

Oh yeah, and its cool to find out that other guys in Wyoming have pigs too.
