Murphy just opened up a new station next to the local Walmart (S.W. Georgia) and while it probably won't last, they are selling diesel at $2.55 a gallon. The others stations that are not close to the Murphy station are not matching the price.

Actually it comes out to $4.80-$4.92 per gallon. 1 US gallon = 3.785L
I posted the price in Blane, WA and said it was in USG and USD.

I was referring to the Canadian price, liter to gallon conversion. Pretty steep.

This one was taken in Whittier, CA where gas and diesel are usually a lot more expensive that the surrounding cities.
I thought owning a diesel would be more economical! 
Did those numbers flip from 1 or 2 to 6?

What's the difference between diesel and RUG around you? I've been in Ottawa for a few weeks working but never noticed a gas station where I was staying.
I'd say about 10 cents more... Don't really check.
I pretty much stopped looking because at less than $1.20 per litre I can actually afford it because I ALWAYS 'combine shipping' in other words I never simply cruise around or simply go for a drive, always plan itineraries to minimize transportation costs.
Above $1.20 per litre and I need to cut somewhere else, in other words it's simply beyond my means. Then again, I don't believe in debt slavery. I drive Landcruisers not as a fashion statement, but because they are frugal, reliable and actually answer a real need for where I live and what I do for a living.
