only to realize the new is too short for my battery. stand will stay, but i'll have to clean up the old tray and put it back in. (no, the pretty tray is not for sale...i have a 65 it will go in)

took her out for a spin today...it's been way too long. got new tires mounted on some extra split rims i had. powerking 7.5/16s. they're enormous compared to the snow cruisers. kept the driving to local since i don't have insurance at the moment. trying to find collectors insurance but hagarty won't insure it because i drive on dirt roads and another turned me down because i occasionally drive it to the grocery store....more proof what a freaking scam insurance is.

Okay. All caught up. No jumping forums without notifications from here out...shouldn't have to track via random Texican FB posts.

Still have your OEM soft doors in the garage...might mount them up in 2017!

Cool truck!

Is this brown color and pattern original or was it really the white diamond plate vinyl? Or did it change from early FJ25 to early FJ40.

That looks like the aftermarket vinyl floor mats my grandfather had in his 1963 Ford Galaxy.

Ha! That makes sense. With all the patterns it seemed like some type of new revelation on step padding.

Ok. Back to off white diamond plate pad. Well played thought- have to hand it to them- great use of old rubber mat.
