Ordered the GB150 this morning and I just received it. This thing is huge.

NOCO or Antigravity sound like the winners. question, if i go the NOCO route do you think its worth 3x the price to go from GB40 up to the GB150 @Markuson has? I think on amazon the GB40 is around $100, GB70 is about $200, and the beast GB150 is around $300. In your humble opinion is it worth it? GB70 looks very similar with the same heavy duty clips.

The Noco GB150 is very nice. Quality product compared to the less expensive options.

I have had two for years used them when we would take a trip, camping, to the lake for the boat or what naught. They hold a charge well, as stated above. I ordered three, one for both of my kids and one for wifey. Figured I would keep them able to get a dead car back on the road without a call to dad.

My motivation was when my 18 year old daughter had to help another 18 year old (boy) at her school change a tire because no one had ever taught him how to. Sheesh. Kids these days. Any way she saw it in the back of the LC a couple of weeks ago and said, shouldn't I have one of those in my car always.

"Timing is everything." footnote to Bob Hope.

Anyway, good deal on a good product.

I've had good luck for many years with Cobra. Everyone in the family has one in their vehicles. They stay charged for many months, maybe 6 months. The small one had enough juice to start my Lexus and Tundra v8s, and just for fun, we tried starting my son's Ranger v6 and were able to start the engine 6 times with no battery in the truck at all. Probably would have started it more, but we got bored at 6.

I upgraded to the big one for my Tundra because I had the room. I was happy to find that it fits in my LC tailgate storage with all the cords and chargers with room to spare.

But wait, there's more!

Today only the GB150 4000 Amp jump starter pack is only $173.54 (GB150 on Amazon Deal of the Day)

I still highly recommend it.

HTH
Yep, I jumped on that deal yesterday and it arrived today. The GB 150 is a beast! Comes with a DC charger plug which I almost purchased separately with the case and AC charger. Glad I didn't get the DC plug. Arrived with less than 25% charge. Directions say it should take about 11 hours to fully charge off the USB input. Charges much faster with DC input and I'm assuming AC should be fastest. Based on the good reviews here, I should not have to charge this thing very often.

My GB70 has been sitting idle for about 6 months....saw this thread, decided to see how much charge was showing....1 light down
from full charge.

Took about 5 hours with the USB to get up to solid green.

Yep.
Here’s mine after sitting in my truck almost 6 months (before LCDC)...
...and after jumping a Jeep on Saturday...
-Still hasn’t budged off of 100%.

As with all batteries there is a life expectancy. This jumper has been faithful for the past four years but would not start the 4Runner when I left the plow lights on overnight.

I jumped it in the garage off my wife's Mini Cooper, not running, and it started right up.

Jump starters are not eternal ....

I like my 40. I started a big v8 on a 3/4 ton truck plus plenty of other smaller v8s. It works for my needs and it is small

I picked up the GB50 a couple years ago and it has started my LX 4 times while out camping. Started it the first time each time. Its a good size and not hard to store. Many on here will tell you to buy the 150, but its overkill unless you need a portable charger for other devices.

Well nvm, looks like those deal prices are gone now. I think I'll wait for the 150 to go on sale at $175 again.
You won’t be disappointed, I had to use mine 2 times this week for 2 different people at work. I haven’t charged it since January, still almost full.

I can’t remember the last time I recharged my 150. BeenOover a year. Numerousjumps and uses in last year and it’s still showing 100%. Thing is crazy powerful and storage discharge is clearly not a thibg. At this point I’ve decided to see how long it takes to get it to show 75 because I’ve yet to see it get there.

I added Honey to my browser a while back. Got an email overnight that the GB150 price dropped. Just ordered it on prime for $173.53 which Honey shows as the lowest price in the last 120 days.
