Got my ARB compressor working! Turns out I'm just a dumbass and didn't read the directions correctly. There were two wires not hooked up. Got that sorted out and now it is working.

I also dropped my truck off at my body shop yesterday to get the sliders installed and my rear bumper bracket fixed. They said they have some metal etching paint stuff they are going to use for the sliders to protect against rust.

The drawer frame/box is sitting in the garage and I plan to try to finish that up over the next week or two.

I was also looking at mounting solutions for the spare and for my hi lift (which needs to be rebuilt). For the spare I think I am going to just have long bolts through the top of the box that will run through the lug holes in the wheel. 2 should be sufficient. The hi lift I have been kicking around different ideas but I think I'm going to mount it on my roof rack. I could put it on top of the tire in the back but that would effectively take up all the usable space on top of and around the tire.

No pics right now but things are still happening!

Started laying out my cuts for my drawers last night. Measured everything then realized I didn't account for the width of the saw blade. Oops.

I also ordered a rebuild kit for my hi lift since it's been sitting for years. And a mount kit so I can mount it on the roof rack and save the space in the back of the truck.

Got covered in sawdust again when I got home from work yesterday. Pieces are all cut for the drawers, just need to be assembled. And I added a piece to close out the back of the box.

Yep!! No better way to test out new parts than to smash them into things right? Be good to see you if you do make it man. Been way too long.

Well I still suck at carpentry. Drawers are like 3/4" too tall? Jeez...

Does it still fit in the garage?

Sliders look great! Especially the paint job, your guys are good.

And seriously, let me know if you need help with the drawers/platform - I have a good bit of experience with such. I want to do something similar myself, so been trying to figure out what would be best and have a couple of ideas.

Sent you an email to work address - but it bounced on my end so don't know if it went through. Wanted to tell you thanks for fitting me in for my LC service last week, and to tell John thanks as well. Great service! Wanted to say hello, but got tied up helping my wife with something and the service was done before I knew it, so next time.

Happy to help!

Anytime on the drawers. If you just want to come check out what I have so far or whatever. I really feel like I am limited by my lack of tools. I have been using a circular saw for everything and I really probably would have been better with a table saw. Should have just went to @DanKunz house and done it!

Regarding the hi lift on the roof, I'd place a protective cover on the main part to prevent malfunction when you really need to use it! Lots of Heeps around here are driving with their jacks on top/rear/sides of their rigs and they look like they're full of gunk and corrosion but hey, they look good!

Yeah not really turning out how I planned. Also was meant to be a semi-permanent solution. I don't think I'll ride around town with it like that. Probably just for trips or whatever. And mine already needs to be rebuilt from sitting so long.

Man, back to the drawing board as usual.
