I forgot to add some wiring info. I did not need to solder anything. At each of the LED strip were the two exposed leads. There was about 4" of positive and negative lead available to tie into. I just cut the LED strip in 1/2 then tied into the factory plug using the exposed wires that were at one end of each light strip. Hopefully that made sense. I probably should have taken pics of that but was in a rush to get done before the heavy rain started again.

Can we get a few pictures of it at night?

Yep. I will take better pics when I get off work in daylight and later when it's dark. My 1st pics sucked due to the mud and rain I was dealing with. I will hose off the mud and get better images for you guys. Just wanted to get something up so you guys could at least see what I did.

So here are some night time shots. The auto exposure of my phone does make the lights seem a bit brighter then in real person BUT they are still WAY brighter then the factory running board lights.

Out of curiosity, am I the only person who has done the LED light strip to replace the factory running board lights. If others have done this, I would like to see how it was done. I really have no idea if my way was best. It just seemed like a logical way to do it. I was driving the 100 around tonight and am really starting to like the extra ground light when walking up to the car. My wife is also really liking it. It makes getting the kids in and out a bit easier. I also just did the full interior PFRAN LED light upgrade. Huge improvement over stock. Very happy with the interior light now.
