Most recent one of mine. 35s on 17" Tundra wheels. Heavy front, med rears. Pre-IPOR install.

I went Iron Man medium/medium. My bumper is light and so is the winch. I want to add the rear bumper and swing out and do the Vortec swap before I do any changes with the stance. I want it level when loaded to hit the road. I can live with a rake for DD duties.

thanks everyone for the help. Talked to marshal today and think I'm going with the iron man med all the way around and still on the fence about the caster bushings (don't think i can do those myself)

The bushings were not an option with my swap. The truck darted all over the place. The bushings brought it back to normal. You need a press to remove the bushings, may as well do the frame side bushings while you have the radius arms off.

caster (or lack of) will do strange things to a front end

You betcha!!!! Ours was scary over 40 MPH. You know, like at the bottom of a very long hill, with a tail wind

ok, yall convinced me on the Castor bushings. What are "frame side bushings"? And where should I buy these? Marshall suggested Slee offroad

The two on the right end attach to the axle, the single on the left side attaches to the frame. The two bushings at the axle are replaced with bushings that have the inner sleeve off set. The essentially turns the axle back to or close to stock castor settings. The frame side bushings are available from Beno, the CC bushings are available from Slee and others.

gotcha!!

I assume its better to have a shop do that since i have no way of pressing bushings.

I had LexTech press mine in. In addition to not having a press, I was concerned that I wouldn't get the bushing properly clocked in the arm.

Getting the bushings clocked correctly is a simple affair of only doing one arm at a time and using the stock arm with a couple long 5/8 bolts as a template to press in new bushings.

Kevin, Marshall's got a press, I'm guessing it can press those in.

I am going to attempt the install my self in my drive way once I buy everything. I guess it wouldn't hurt to drive it to Marshall to get the bushings pressed. Think it would be ok from Clemson to Mauldin with out doing the bushings yet?

You're still in the seneca area right Kevin? Let me know when you plan on putting it in and I'll come give ya a hand.

hell yeah!! I will let you know. I'm about a few miles or so from Clemson 4x4 and wells Hwy on 123.

Well I've discovered an oil leak after putting the 80 in the carport!

@Trollhole any chance I can drop it off at your shop on Sunday. I want everything working right before I do the lift. Not exactly the birthday gift I wanted but PM before lift and goodies.
