Hi,

Unfortunately I am not living in the US but in Europe. I do have a LWD though. Can you point me in the right direction on where to find These?

Thanks a lot.

I can order 3B kits for the lhd 70 series , they require a custom pulley and my supplier already told me that the ones he still has in inventory will be the last ones available, not planning on doing another batch of those so 3B people don’t miss out on these !
do you have any kits for a 3B? many thanks

What condenser do these kits use?

It has taken me a long time but I finally installed one of the aftermarket ac kits that I have been importing for some time now .Having been around cruisers and mainly diesel version 40/61/70 series I think it is safe to say that no 2 cruisers are exactly the same and toyota changes details on them on what looks like a daily basis so some details might be different on your install.

I installed this on a 1990 HZJ73 that will soon be going to a well respected Mud member , this cruiser was sold originally in the Netherlands and came with no rear seat mounts and the FRP top without windows specific for that market.

The complete installation of the kit took me around 2 and a half hours and the kit comes with a real nice instruction manual in 4 languages , the manual has a template to drill in the firewall for passing the lines but this one already had those holes from the factory and I just had to remove the rubber plug .

Condensor box fits nicely under the dash and most people wouldnt even know that this is a aftermarket unit rather then oemView attachment 2686106View attachment 2686108View attachment 2686109View attachment 2686160
Do you have a link for the kit? Do you think it would work on a 2002 HZJ79 fire truck?

June 26, 2026: I have a full unused kit for a Left Hand Drive LJ70 that I will not be using. It had been purchased from JoeKatana a few years ago but never installed. Still in the box. It looks the same as the photo in post #1 of this thread of the layout of parts at the beginning of this thread. I'd like to make it available to any member here who will need it because these kits aren't sold anymore to the best of my knowledge. I'm not looking to make any profit on it. The price is $2,300 plus shipping. I am in the U.S. The box is big and heavy so mailing costs depending on where you are in the US may range from $80 to $125 I'm guessing. I won't ship outside the U.S. as that is too cumbersome and uncertain due to tariffs/customs fees and such. ** I cannot answer any installation questions, since I have not ever installed one of these kits** Contact me via PM. I will update this post if sold.

This is one heck of a deal because I am no longer importing them and in the current climate it would cost a lot more to import one . Glws
