Quick wiring question - The power lead on the A/C compressor included in the kit is pretty heavy duty. Like 10 or 12 gauge . But the signal wire from the Toyota harness is tiny (like 20 or 22 gauge).

Did you run a relay for the signal wire to the A/C compressor? Or just use a separate switch altogether?

The compressor wire needs to be connected to the corresponding wire of the wiring harness that is supplied with the kit , inside the cab you will need to tap in to the oem ac plug to provide power to the switch.

Revisiting this old thread, does anyone have a link to one of these aftermarket kits? Would be for a 92 PZJ70

Yes I have them available at this moment

what are the power requirements of this kit?
my bj70 is 24 volt, but i have a 24 to 12 converter, would probably have to upgrade it i guess?

I have them in both 12 and 24 volt available to keep it simple .

It has taken me a long time but I finally installed one of the aftermarket ac kits that I have been importing for some time now .Having been around cruisers and mainly diesel version 40/61/70 series I think it is safe to say that no 2 cruisers are exactly the same and toyota changes details on them on what looks like a daily basis so some details might be different on your install.

I installed this on a 1990 HZJ73 that will soon be going to a well respected Mud member , this cruiser was sold originally in the Netherlands and came with no rear seat mounts and the FRP top without windows specific for that market.

The complete installation of the kit took me around 2 and a half hours and the kit comes with a real nice instruction manual in 4 languages , the manual has a template to drill in the firewall for passing the lines but this one already had those holes from the factory and I just had to remove the rubber plug .

Condensor box fits nicely under the dash and most people wouldnt even know that this is a aftermarket unit rather then oemView attachment 2686106

No as where they are located every car gets delivered from the factory with a heater . I do have some used heater cores available from time to time , they are getting harder to get but sometimes I still get lucky

They are very rare in deed!

Ahoj, kde by som mohol kúpiť takýto sad v Európe. Mám hzj75, motor 4,2. Ťažko sa mi tu orientuje, môžeš mi napísať na: ondak.peter@gmail.com Ďakujem

My next order will be in December , you can buy one then .

Moja ďalšia objednávka bude v decembri, potom si ju môžete kúpiť.
Dobrý deň, aká by bola cena vrátane dopravy do Slovenskej republiky? Máte zastúpenie v Európe? Pýtam sa preto, lebo k vašej cene musím pripočítať daň a clo. Ďakujem za Vašu odpoveď.

i moved out east and im seriously debating on getting a kit now, but using an OE 1FZ denso AC compressor and a used ac compressor bracket from an 80 series, and hope the supplied hoses can directly thread onto a denso compressor to work on a lhd 1fz powered troopy.

I have used oem ac brackets available for the 1HZ/hdt . The fittings are different on both compressors and I actually prefer the Sanden compressor from my kits over the oem denso .

Darn that would have been awesome if they shared the same high/low pressure fittings as the Denso ones. Looking at the Sanden compressor’s mounting holes which parallel the length of the truck, how did you modify the OE AC compressor bracket that is meant for a compressor that has mounting holes that go perpendicular to the length of the truck?

The kits come with a custom made bracket for the Sanden
