so i've got yakima A1 towers with round bars. i've used these previously on my tacoma cap and they seemed like an initial no brainer move for my 80. then i went to a yakima road warrior roof rack (again cheap enough) mounted to the yakima round bars.
now i'm trying to step it up.
i had seen the arb racks around and it seemed like a good idea to pick up one of these used and use non ARB mounts for my it just to keep things reasonable price-wise.
first one i bought i had to bring back to the guy because once i got out there it turns out it had been chopped up and then when i got it mounted it vibrated hellaciously at speed.
now i have a 45" ARB rack that i /thought/ i was geting mounts with but turns out they won't reach width wise to support the rack?
what are my options here?

any pics of your ARB rack on an 80 without the ARB brackets? any cheap sets of ARB brackets out there? do i need to buy a wider ARB rack? should i sell this one and buy something else?
