When I engage my transfer lock nothing on the dash lights up but seems to be functioning fine. Would this be one of the bottom lights across the panel in your second picture? The light has never come on since I have purchased the vehicle, figure while im in there changing over to some LEDs would be the perfect time to replace.

You can make out which position the CDL light is in if you take a flashlight and view that lower part of the cluster from off-center. If the indicator light is good, the problem is likely the spring loaded CDL switch on the T-case. In fact, I'd say the switch is more likely problem.

Thanks for the info Ill try and check it out this week. Why do you think it would be the switch more than the light? If it needs replaced is this a expensive switch?

This has to be one of my favorite mods I've done to my truck. Makes night driving so much more enjoyable to be able to clearly see my instrument panel. If anyone is considering doing this and is on the fence - do it - you won't regret it. And it's cheap and really easy to do as well.

So do the blue and black bases pull out of the cluster and the light snap into those? My D light is out, didnt like it at first because I had just bought the thing, now....I like it.

Any thoughts as to why all of my P R N D 4 3 2 L lights went out, all at once?

FSM shows common ground return for the led's.

Thanks for your help. I will be sure to tear into it this weekend and check the ground.

Can somebody post a complete list? I would like to do every dash light. Yes, Including HVAC.

And yes, including stock head unit. The green is getting old, and weak, and dark in the spots where the original bulbs have died. In fact, all we really need is a list of the bulb types, and I'll bet there are only 2 or 3 types used in the HVAC/head unit/switches. Sourcing the LED replacements will be easy enough if we know the bulb model numbers and counts.
Where's PFran when we need him??

I really need to get around to doing this mod.
