a large injection needle hooked to your compressor and inserted into your foam a hundred times or so will help restore your foam to it's original shape guess your need to steer clear of your heated seat parts... but it is common practice to restore the foam puts the air back in it...
Just looked up the price of seat foam- just the bottom cushion is $225- I think I'll try your process.

None of these are available to me in Oz, especially since the North American cruisers got the little Range Rover-esque arm rests and we got a much larger centre console with fridge instead. I'd just got to a reupholsterer locally and explain to him what you want done. That you can sample colour matches, leather grains and price points.

I used MB Tex material for the front buckets with perf inserts and had the MB Tex material custom custom installed locally. Approx $600 for material and reupholstering for front buckets, head rests, arm rests and center console cover. Turned out real nice imo.

Any option for cloth covers? I'd prefer those to the leather honestly.

Wow that looks really nice and the price is great.

In the desert SouthWest, vinyl is even worse than leather.

Here is mine. Installed today. Dim grey with light grey stitching and perforated. Fronts are nice minus some wrinkles that should smooth out over time. Rear set I'm unhappy with. Too much extra material. I understand they are trying to add roushing but damn.

Here's my before and after, ordered from LSeat and it took about 2.5-3 weeks from the time the order was placed to receive my set. They included a center console cover which I was very pleased about, didn't see any mention of this anywhere so it was a pleasant surprise.

So far the back seats are not nearly as great as the front seats, hoping they will smooth out in the sunlight but otherwise I'm planning to steam them in hopes they'll tighten up. Still worth the $300 IMO and way better than the leather that was in there.

Any impression on the lseat thickness/quality of leather vs the worn originals that were removed?

Quality is decent, in certain spots better than the OEM - mostly just due to the attachment points for the hog rings being a bit thicker. The leather prior was destroyed by water and general wear (bought the car like this a month ago) so take that with a grain of salt.

The only thing I noted of being of so-so quality was the stitching in certain areas, its easy to tell on occasion they were rushing. Besides that, I'm impressed overall - was expecting worse for the price.

Anybody got a link to a how to video or DIY thread on the seat cover replacement?
I got new covers last week from Lseat, and want to install them, but I’m really good at screwing things up and want to reduce the possibility of that on the project.
TIA.

Check this out: Instructions for Removing Old Leather/Installing New Leather?

I'm done with the passenger seat, other than the headrest and the armrest. Both are a pain to get on- armrest leather is on but can't get the clips to "mate." Headrest leather has not been installed yet. For the seat bottom and seat back, I give Lseat a B+, and I give my install work the same grade. A couple of things I would have done differently, but it looks 100 times better than before, and the price is right.

Definitely use a steamer on the foam. I bought one on Amazon for under $20 and it seems to do a fine job.

I'll tackle the driver's seat next weekend (I use the truck on the weekends to transport my bike).
