@dbenke take 526 to International Drive and head towards the airport. Make a right in to Boeing at the 2nd light after the intersection. Get in the right lane. Before you reach the guards, you'll make a right in to the parking lot of the building that looks like a wing. That's the Visitor Center. The entrance is right in front of the parking lot.

Thanks, Jeremy

I passed the Technician test!!! How long does it take for the call sign to get registered? I guess I can just look up my name on the FCC database? Is it hard to get a vanity call sign? I was thinking something along the lines of N4RNR? That will work won't it? It doesn't look to be taken in the database. Any other ideas for a cool call sign for me along the lines of 4runner or Greenseaman or Popeye ... There is no fee now to change your call sign is there?

I'll have to think about a vanity sign for me, the 4rnr works well for you. I don't think it costs anything to change it.

Hey guys, congratulations! MORE HAMs!!!! Always a good thing. It took about 4 weeks for my registration to come through. After I got it, I immediately applied online for a vanity sign which took another 4 weeks or so. I didn't get any sort of notification of what my call sign was or when it changed, I just had to keep checking back online. Again, congratulations!

I am leaning towards something like A6TWO
I'll have to check, but something along that line

So, when is the next class.....

Ich weiss das nicht, meine herr... Ich denke es kommt im November?

No idea... He's gotta have enough interest to have a class. Will keep you posted.

Totally understand; please let Steve know that we would really like to get in the next available class (and hopefully we won't have something else going on again).

Will do! Repetition is key. They review every question that could possibly be on the test and often give a little background info. Conversely, if you are good at memorization, there are plenty of apps and books you can buy and not bother with the Saturday class at all (test on Sunday). It's a matter of cramming just before you go in and sit for the test.

I am registered on the database, my call sign is KM4VUQ.
I submitted a registration form with the FCC so I can change it.
It looks like my A6TWO is open, so I will go with that.
Hopefully it will be ok to say it as "A Sixty-two", that's what I'm planning on, probably not correct, though.

Am I correct in saying the call sign has to start with k, n, or w with a 4 for the geographical location and a 3 letter suffix? Can it also be a 2 letter prefix? This would be for technician, this is kinda confusing. I also found my call sign registered after searching, it's KM4VUJ, hoping to find something with the suffix RNR...

Vanity signs will be either A, K N or W, followed by a number, followed by three letters. Like Jeremy ' s K4DFJ.
That's how I will try for A6TWO

I didn't hear anything about 4 for the first number.

Maybe the 4 is just what is used when they automatically assign the call sign based on geography. I think I read where it can be any number in the vanity. How do I get the ULS password for my FRN? Do I have to wait and call FCC tech support?

No, just keep looking, on the sign up page, there is a place where you can enter your name and city, and it will give you your FRN. It's a ten digit number starting with 00XXXXXXXX
