I'll be there! So glad to get back into Colorado!

Nice guys!!! It will be cool to see all the 200’s around the area!

Cody and I live a mile apart, if I can help anyone with logistics let me know!

I no longer have a 200, but I might snoop around while you’re in my AO!!!

Subscribed to this thread - Just purchased my 200Lx right before Thanksgiving.

Definitely gives me a fun trip to look forward to this summer... also, Tedeschi Trucks is playing a two night set with St. Paul & the Broken Bones over these dates at Red Rocks. Could be a fun extra event for anyone interested.

I'm and local(ish boulder area). If the organizers need any help let me know also wouldn't mind going on some scouting . I have no idea how far you want to go from FoCo but storm peak near drake and pole hill were fun shorter trips. Old flowers road has a lot of good easy trails. Anyway I am excited for my first one! I had to bail out this year due to work.

Just missed last year. But I took Markuson's advice...Slee added sliders and skid plates this fall.:bounce: I am ready for that long 2 hour drive from Steamboat!

I am a maybe this far out. I am committed to 2 races upcoming next year first .

There is a hotel, camp, woods ... anything you like :)

When I'm out exploring, I tend to keep things pretty simple. I typically just park in the woods, live off of MREs and Dr. Pepper, and sleep in the truck. Does anyone else do that and know if that is even allowed in this area? Not familiar with this part of Colorado so any info appreciated. Thanks.

There are tons of dispersed camping locations along the Poudre river area. FS has maps you can get and outlines everywhere you can go. I have a few places I like I can share as well. Quite a few people camp at the event

Quick side note if you plan on doing any fishing/fly fishing in the area or Poudre river you will need a permit. Highly recommend doing some fly fishing if you’re into it.

To piggyback on this... if anyone wants to organize a blended day of trails + hiking/fishing/ppg/photography/whatever let me know and we’ll work it into the plans.

PPG?

To me, that means Powered Para-Gliding.
Is there another PPG?

Super excited to join for the first time. Will hopefully have an RTT and a setup that allows me to camp.

is there a big enough group where we all setup together in the same spot?

If it really were powered para-gliding, that would be some next level LCDC shenanigans.

Maybe we’ll do some fly-bys someday at LCDC 8... :bounce: :p
