I thought we were staying at Cody's house. How big is his back yard![]()
There is a hotel, camp, woods ... anything you like![]()
There are tons of dispersed camping locations along the Poudre river area. FS has maps you can get and outlines everywhere you can go. I have a few places I like I can share as well. Quite a few people camp at the eventWhen I'm out exploring, I tend to keep things pretty simple. I typically just park in the woods, live off of MREs and Dr. Pepper, and sleep in the truck. Does anyone else do that and know if that is even allowed in this area? Not familiar with this part of Colorado so any info appreciated. Thanks.
Quick side note if you plan on doing any fishing/fly fishing in the area or Poudre river you will need a permit. Highly recommend doing some fly fishing if your into it.
To piggyback on this... if anyone wants to organize a blended day of trails + hiking/fishing/ppg/photography/whatever let me know and we’ll work it into the plans.

PPG?
To me, that means Powered Para-Gliding.
Is there another PPG?
If it really were powered para-gliding, that would be some next level LCDC shenanigans.
I can get you a list of some of the trails in the area that are worth checking out.I'd be very intrested in some light mountain biking. Nothing insane, but I'd bring my bike along.
Okay you got me with the fishing. I’ll plan on attending. Anyone else coming from the Southeast?Quick side note if you plan on doing any fishing/fly fishing in the area or Poudre river you will need a permit. Highly recommend doing some fly fishing if you’re into it.
