I was only able to participate through mid-day today, and am still grinning ear-to-ear from all the fun! I'd like to send a massive THANK YOU out to Cole, Cody, and all the trail leaders. I was in for the opening gathering, Imogene yesterday (and Ophir back with Gillaume!), and Corkscrew Gulch today. It *RULED*!!!
Thank you so much for making all this happen, folks. I feel like I've learned my truck better, improved my skills, and met a very welcoming, friendly group of fellow 200-nerds. Good times!
Any recovery action today? Those roads can get slick up there. Those shoulders are juicy and prime for high center action![]()
Yes they look awesome in person! For us 570 owners living vicariously through y'all - can someone grab a pic of the new Slee 570 sliders that they have been teasing on social media? Specifically the underside. It was hinted that the design was revised to add more protection for AHC globes.

We had a scary moment on Imogene today. The driver might have been able to make it without rolling but we didn't take the chance. A kinetic rope and soft shackles from Treary Oak Offroad and some tug-of-war action for ballast kept everyone safe (Todd came down after securing the rope before the vehicle started moving). Good job everyone on keeping your cool and thinking through the problem.Any recovery action today? Those roads can get slick up there. Those shoulders are juicy and prime for high center action![]()

Yes that appears to be what happened - the driver dropped passenger front while driver front was still on the ledge. He did a good job turning into it and stopping before any additional tipping occurred and waited for assistance. So although the line was problematic, he acted correctly in what I am sure was a scary situation.Just by looking at pics, going down on those ledge style drops, pick a line and try to drop both front tires at relatively same time. If you were squared up on that drop, you won’t be in that position. This just my observation without physical being there. Carry on and be safe!

@SchobTime All arm chair quarterbacking from thousands of miles away and trolling aside- my daughter was in this vehicle and and I was up there to get her out and the drivers son. The driver is very experienced- more than probably all of us combined and just couldn’t see the drop. He took a challenging line on purpose.
But don’t take pleasure in what could have been serious situations and act like it could never happen to you.
