It protects the sway bar disconnect mechanism.

Didn’t see that coming, left or right front? If you get a chance, would you take a picture?

I removed mine a long time ago, but It goes behind the plastic engine cover on the driver side.

Do you have the sway bar dissconnect? If not, it's pointless.

Serviced my front / rear diffs & transfer case fluid. Upgraded the front diff fill & drain plugs to hex head, and the transfer case drain plug to magnetic.

Transfer Case Drain Plug (Magnetic) - Toyota 90341-18057
