Where'd you score that?

Back when I owned a series 1 Disco we used these from the DII series. They'll also fit in a Range Rover Classic. I thought about putting one in my LX450 but haven't run into the need yet beyond the dash holder. Do an internet search for Disocovery II cup holder. They can be found all over the net.

They are stout cup holders and probably better than anything else out there. Plus, they accomidate cups of different sizes just by removing the inner liner.

I know this is an old post , but everytime I hit the salvages here locally I snag them if I can find them , I have I think 3 of the Discovery cup holders , I have one in my 80 and I love it. I would sell the other 3 for $20 each plus shipping. If anyone is interested.

Most are going with 3D printed now, but I also have the old disco cup holder. Love it. Fits the look of the interior, is rock solid, and also fits the larger cups like the stainless tumblers.

I just got a couple of these Discovery II cup holders at a local Pick n Pull for $5.99 a piece. The Discos show up fairly regularly in self service yards. I haven't mounted mine yet, but it appears you may have to add some shimming to make them level. I plan on using self adhesive felt pads.

Just a heads up. The stock cupholder that connects to the side of the center console/arm rest can be removed, heated and resized for larger cups. The edge against the center console needs to be trimmed straight again after resizing, but it will hold larger insulated cups after the mod. Works great in the air fryer/convection oven. Just make sure you don't get busted. Things soften up nicely around 370F. First, find something that supports the bottom without pushing on the reinforcement underneath the holder. Use the oven mitts (don't get caught using these either). Move the hot holder quickly onto the supports and gently force your favorite insulated cup down into it. The square hole will become more rounded to fit the cup. The edge nearest the console might crack slightly, but this will be removed after it cools. Once cool, use a straight edge to scribe a straight line along that side. Use a sanding drum on a dremel to sand to the line and reassemble. Enjoy!
