So I am a bit of a nerd and one of my favorite shows from the mid to late 90's and early 00's was Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) has now been rebooted on Netflix. The premise of the show is a guy gets kidnapped into space and is forced to watch horribly bad science fiction movies with his robot friends. Any way the first season on Netflix has this gem of mid 70's Fj40

The episode is titled "Cry Nature." I personally think this show and humor is funny but like I said I am a bit of a nerd.

I quite literally almost died laughing at that show as a young man. Include it with horseshoes, hand grenades and farts in things that can almost kill you.

8/76-9/77 (77 model) right? I'm a bit of nerd myself when it comes.to FJ40s.
I think that we are all LC nerds on here but this is just one other way that my nerdiness comes through.

It’s hard to find anything consistent to watch on tv despite all of the services out there… so we had decided to watch a re-run of the newer Magnum P.I.

With a bored eye on the screen and the other on the iPad ….this pops up. Air date: 1-8-2021 season 3

Not TV or movie - but pretty unexpected on the Engel website. I've owned an Engel MT45 since 2008 and we use it every weekend when we go down south to Tucson for groceries. My wife lets me use it whenever I go camping too!

Funny, I might be able to get my wife to watch something other than Hallmark or Law & Order for almost 3 minutes so I’m just might get to check that out!

My daughter was wanting to watch a movie and decided to watch 50 first dates and I saw a 55

Netflix show "Boy Swallows Universe" set in Australia sometime in the 80s. One of the characters has a nice grey FJ40, there's several others sprinkled around. If you're an 80s car nerd you'll love it. There's even a Mad Max police car (the 4-door Falcon, sadly not the Falcon XB GT). The stepdad has a Datsun van looks a lot like a Mitsubishi Delica. The show is very good, too.

Just finished watching The Fall Guy. Loved it. Most of it took place in Australia but spotted only 1 cruiser (a 70 series ambulance on the beach) and a Hilux…..unless you’re a nut, paying very close attention, and very familiar with a 100 series.

In the final scenes, the car used in the 250 ft jump has 2 versions. One with trophy truck/stadium truck under pinnings used for driving and the jump. Then a 2nd that is very clearly built on a later 100 series with a 5-speed that is used for stationary shots and rolled/crashed.

In the Prime series"Man in the High Castle" there are two FJ45 long wheel base pickups parked on a street in San Francisco. May have been in the first episode. Thought it was interesting since the LWB 45s didn't come out until mid 1964 and time frame is 1962. But it thankfully a fiction story and sure they were in the scene because they made in Japan.
