I was filling the kids 4Runner at Sunoco and onX had an add up and it features this 80 series View attachment 4098750

Is this Clifford? The 80 that was built on 40s with no suspension lift?

Very nice factory soft top in the show the hunters. Believe it is on Prime. Not a US FST model but still a nice FST.

Was in this thread, post 288. Show was suppose to be 1971.

Watching Dark Winds I occasionally forget it is a period piece because many tribal LE departments don't have adequate funding. Older cop trucks, are not a stretch.

During the time this show was supposed to be I lived in Flagstaff. Navajo reservation is just north and east of town. Later part of the seventies I worked for the Pepsi franchise in Flagstaff. Part of my regular route included Leupp. When the guy who main route was the reservation I would fill in. Roads were awful. White man trading posts were taking advantage of the Indians. All the schools were still boarding schools. Navajos are now getting back at the whiteman. Just east of Flagstaff on I-40 is the Twin Arrows casino LOL.
