Looking through the current parts program it doesn't seem purely limited to operational/safety parts but maybe there is a specific roadmap for the 80 series.
- Interior panels for the A80 Supra
- Parking lights for the AE86 (surely already covered by aftermarket)
- Engine harnesses for the AE86 (important operational part but since @OGBeno mentioned engine harnesses will never happen for the 80)
- Fuel and oil pressure cluster gauges for the 70 series (very similar parts category to a speedometer)

You can make arguments for almost any part being neccessary to keep it operational/safe, even door cards :D

AE86 is a radically different engineering program.

Can’t compare it to a LC.

Quite different demographics as well.

I went ahead and put in a request for a new driver's side seat belt assembly. While it may not be directly a "start, run, steer item," you can't do any of those three legally without a functioning seatbelt. AFAIK, none of those offering rebuild/reweb services has any certification or other formal relationship with Toyota - and the vehicle would be down while waiting for the itemsbb. And in the past, Toyota has emphasized wearing those belts by devoting an entire page to this topic at the front of the owners manual. Needless to say. as a high-use item that is constantly getting more use, this item will sell a bunch of units.
Greentruck. I deleted my third row seats. The belt from the third row is a pretty good fit. Just a bit shorter. The eyelet that bolts to the vehicle has to be flattened and bent a bit, but its so nice to have a never used belt, that matches the color for the drivers seat. A little bit of a struggle getting the belt off the retract and back on the drivers retract, but doable. Make sure you have the buckle facing the right way when you reassemble it.

Good to see some use being made of the third row. I still need a passenger side belt up front so may give this a try.
 
Link to the survey by Toyota Japan for the heritage parts project. You can put in the fj80 and FZJ80 as “other”. Never too early to start asking for continued OEM parts manufacturing and currently discontinued items!

Does anyone have the part number for the rear dust wing? I know they’re discontinued now. (Stole this photo from another thread)

That was a JDM accessory. The likelihood of finding one is close to zero.
 
They announced yesterday they will be reproducing the dash board for the A80 Supra. And have a note that they will continue to listen to customer demand and acknowledge they will continue to reissue parts from functional ones to interior and exterior parts.

keep submitting your requests.
