I am importing these rear tubs from Colombia. They are constructed out of 18 gauge steel just like OEM.

I have both model types: Pre 1978 (Tank under the seat) Post 79+ (Tank under the tub)

Comes just like the pictures.

Price: $2400

Has anyone bought these and put on their truck?

I have sold 10+ here in the US currently in the delivery phase.

In Colombia these are the best option for replacement tubs.

Do they include the rear wheel well braces that we typically have in the states for under the rollbar feet?

Yes they do..

I am so close to pulling the trigger on one. I don't know if it's better to patch my '77 tub or go brand new.

Those are not roll bar supports but the backing brackets for jump seats. The roll bar brackets are much beefier and are V shape. Spot welded to not only the top of the wheel wheel but also the side of the wheel well.

Given my Columbian fender experience, they need to be pretty precise for your hard top to fit properly. There are no unimportant dimensions on an FJ40 tub. It would be good to hear several people come forth with their installation experiences with these tubs.

I am also seriously considering a later one of these for my 79. Would really like to hear from anyone who has fitted one up, and what else needs to be done to it to make it work.

Check out Trollhole cruisers in SC. They have one of my rear tubs
