@Cruiser Corps is selling canned Pewter again. It’s great paint.

My PO gave me a used can of it. It's a perfect match, but $20/can plus shipping. SS100 is just about perfect match as well and can be found locally. Just don't know if I should clear coat it or not.

 
I started off with my usual Rustoleum Smoke Gray on the steelies I put on my FJ60.

Turns out the color is right for OEM 15’s but it looks too light for the 3rd world slit rim look I was going for.

So, I got some Rustoleum Industrial Gray and repainted them. The dark looks better on this truck

Is scuffing the black primer on the new steelies a necessary step before painting? Going to go with the smoke grey color for my tan 60.
 
I used 3M Scotchbrite pad on mine. It was alot easier than sandpaper and came out great
