I am in awe of these pictures! Wow, what amazing territory to wheel. This makes me want to hurry up and get my lift and mods done, and make a trip out west.

Great pics as usual! Few places compare to Ouray. We've been in withdrawal since we took the 100 out there a few years back. I always find myself saying, "maybe next year we'll get back." I guess the only upside is the reason we haven't made it back is we have been doing extended trips to other cool places. Still, we can't wait to get back to Ouray and the San Juans in general.

Great pictures! Planning a similar trip this year in July. Looks like some people did it with no lift/armor/winch. @Atwalz did you get any damage? I'm wondering what mods are necessary to a 2015 LC.

None needed tons of opportunity for a near stock or stock vehicle.

To be on safe side, get sliders and AT E-rated tires. First year, I did stock height with only sliders and AT tires. Following year, I added skid plates, rear bumper and still stock height. This year, I added more armor and lifted the rig.

@ethernectar did all the trails the group ran, in a bone stock truck. The passenger side running board took a hit and got bent up, but luckily did not damage the rocker panel.
most of the trails can be done no problem. Sliders are just good insurance.

Edit- kept reading thread- saw answer. Yes with tires (already done) might want sliders and be prepped for bumper damage.
