Love seeing these, bring back memories. You are guaranteed an afternoon thunder-boomer every day during the short window to wheel the high San Juans, which makes everything a tad bit hairier especially the Steps on Black Bear. Once a year they allow a Jeep Jamboree I believe to run it backwards. If you are built and want a challenge try Poughkeepsie Gulch. For pure beauty its Yankee Boy Basin. You owe it to yourself, no matter where you are, to get up there at least once. And if Black Bear frayed your nerves a little bit, hit The Brown Dog in Telluride for a shot of tequila and some wicked good pizza.
