I had them cook up some special shocks for my new project, should have them in about 4 weeks. Hopefully they are going to by just what I am looking for. lol.

I am curious as well. I would really like to improve the ride of my truck - I'm on OME 2.5" mediums kit, shocks and all, and my ride is not as solid as I think it could be. ARB bull bar, group 31 battery, 12k winch, drawers full of tools, 315s, and a PUMA in the back.
I might be wading a bit deep going straight to Kings, esp. since they need to be set up properly to function well, but I'd rather get it right now than iterate (as I feel I should have gone for the Slee 4" lift from the start, for instance : )
any feedback and info would be appreciated. and maybe a photo of the "project" ??

I was running king shocks with J springs, it was pretty nice! Recently went with 4" heavy duty competition springs. It's a stiffer ride bc I don't have anything in the truck, but once loaded with drawers, spare tire, recovery years and such, it will ride very nicely.
They are pretty much custom. 2" shorter than stock length, increased valving, compression and rebound adjusters. I told them about my project for a 4800-4900lb hot rod SUV and they picked the valving, etc
