Good for you putting her first. When I was 5 I developed Pneumonia and my parents took along time to believe I was sick. 1 week in the hospital. Yeah I was sick.

Hopefully it's not a big deal for her like it was for me.
They’re back home, tests came back negative for anything serious and no appendicitis, which was biggest worry at 4:30am. Most likely a stomach bug/virus. Threw up at the hospital but feeling better now.

Catch you all on the next one, take some good pics!

Well we had a good day at Rausch yesterday. Crusha, Pacer, Vince and and Andy M joined me at the chrome diner for a good breakfast. We got of there about 8 o'clock, and easily up to Rausch by 8:30. There were quite a few trucks there and for a fairly cold Sunday I'd say they had a good turnout. Short line at registration but it went fairly quickly.
Our group had eight trucks, Pacer in his 200, Kris and Shaun in their 100 series trucks, Rick in his white 4 runner, Joe in the silver Taco, and three 80's- Vince in the Lexus, Chris with his the blue and white stripes, and Dan Rezic and son on their 80. Several passengers included me riding with Vince, Crusha in with Pacer, Kris' daughter and puppy, and Shaun's son riding with him. Not to mention Chris C's friend Jim who got some wheel time, and Joe's kids JJ and Duke.
Started off with Pacer leading then he handed off the baton to Vince who led most of the rest of the day. The park was really wet with water running everywhere. After sacrificing Joe's Taco on Jotter's way we did a bunch of trails on the west property. We then headed up the pole line, did the 101 hills climb then Andy led us over to the rock climb on trail 2 then over the balance of trail 2. We got back to the parking area a bit after 3PM. Didn't hit much traffic t all in the park was a great day. Temps around 40 most of the day not too cold but not enough to sweat. Pretty much perfect day to wheel and there was no rain at all.
Sure ain't cheap at Rausch anymore, $50+ for a driver and I think $18 for a passenger. They did have three windows manned at the office so that went fairly quickly as mentioned earlier.
So we had two trucks from New York state and two from Jersey, hope all the long distance attendees got home without issue or delay. Let's see if we can set something up for December now!!!!!

I have to say a few words from Dean @TheCarMaster40 (IF WE CAN GET HIM INTO THE FORUM) And myself

Dean and I left with big smiles, even though it took us 6 hrs to come home, we did a truck talk all the way home with the great Sunday experience and what's going to be the next one .

Absolutely a pleasure meeting such a nice group of people..... I had a blast as well, not even touch the wheel for the entire 454 mile round trip!
Looking forward for the next ones and most likely won't drive at all again !
Best
Daniel

My pics are basically junk. Missed all the good action shots. Just missed a great pic of Kris with a rear wheel 3ft in the air. I need you all to stop an pose a beat when doing something cool or dangerous please ... lol. Was a great day all around. Thanks to everyone helping me identify and sort out the weird shimmy (bad rear panhard bushing) and thanks to Andy for the trail fix for the tx case popping out of low gear. BTW @surfishjoe I stole your tie down, I will get it back to you next time I see you.

Anyway, it was a great day on the trails and seemed almost weird that the blue trails were consistent after spending so much time at AOAA over the summer. Met some new faces and hope I will see them all on the trails with us again soon.

The drive in is always beautiful to see.

My pics make it look like we drove fire roads all day.

Cass that trail is a windy green that they changed to a blue on the map- would be a fun trail to take the rav4 on though!

Thanks to all who came out, had a blast getting bad advice from Crusha and wheeling the silver 200 for the first time.

Got a few vids I'll link into Kris' Google album here shortly!

Great seeing y'all 👍

Poor @Crusha is falling asleep!

I have to say it was so nice to get to spend some time with @VBRoamer chatting about the only thing as important as Cruisers: Boats!
I feel like it's been years since I've seen him-- probably has!

Was a little nervous having the Hundy on the trail fresh outta the body shop and got grief from my body guy about how he didn't want to see any new scratches on it! 😅

As always, great trip, guys. My favorite "events" are the Keystone outings. Thanks so much!!

I just want it to go on record, that the only vehicle that didn't survive the day, was the ford bronco. It's currently under the knife getting some new electronics... Hopefully they are water proof

I definitely missed the Bronco debacle of which you speak. 🤔

Next date on my radar is a Toys for Tots run at Famous Reading Outdoors December 4th. Flyer says full-size vehicles welcome.

A few of us have also been discussing camping at Twin Grove Friday Dec 3rd through Sunday, wheeling Rausch or maybe a Friday at FRO before the masses descend on Saturday for the above mentioned TfTots run.

Anyone available to join one or some of those days?
