Not to be a stickler but did you guys notice the R and the F cast into the housing? I can't say I ever did until I saw Mels picture...

Tony

That's ok Tony, I did notice it, and on the BJ the R goes to the rear for sure, but on the FJ I could not tell with the booster in the way. I did not want to say it does just in case it does not :)

Had to scratch the rust off mine in my BJ just to see it... What makes it confusing is that the 62 doesn't even use that valve. My bad for not realizing that was John's pic thought it was yours

Mel, Hope the rest of your swap is going well

Tony

Fj62 has a LSPV back on the rear axle that does that job. FJ/BJ60 series has the proportioning valve under the master cylinder.

Nice meeting you man. Hope you enjoyed your 10 minutes in Sudbury lol. Good luck with the rest of the trip and feel free to let me know if you need anything on your way back.

Truck's looking awesome man! Any plans on making your way up to Edmonton again?

Time to update this thread, I am a year behind!
Decided to rebuild the gauge pod this past Spring, built a little metal brake which allowed for some nice bends this time. Also added the mechanical water temp gauge. The first gauge pod did the job but was not up to my standards for visual appeal...
Will keep adding photos over the next few days.

Looks good dude! I'm surprised we haven't passed by each other on the streets this summer.
