Well I'm not an old bag (is 49 old bag-ish?), but I listen mostly to talk radio too...just via satalite. ;)

I'm almost 34. We'll yell at the radio together hows that? :) hopefully we have somewhat close to the same political views otherwise there will be two stranded 200s with two old men with 556 or 762 wounds pointing at the radio ;)

If u r totin a 5.56 or 7.62...then we likely have similar political views... :hillbilly:
Plus, I figured at least one or two parties automatically boot you if you drive a Land Cruiser...;)

hahaha well I only carry my Glock 19... I carry IWB so facing a 9MM JHP towards my mangoods with a chambered triggersafe is not going to happen. I love the austrians but not that much. So I roll un-chambered daily. I know there's tons of Glock hate but 17 rounds of 9MM JHP will stop anyone. Plus, it's really fun to shoot and somewhat cheap. I sold my M107A1 a long while ago. Sooo much fun to shoot but at nearly $3/round it was just silly. But being in the military I do love a 762.

Truck looks fantastic. Bout to pick up a black LC200 tomorrow, 2016. Thoughts on tires (sorry for the hijack)? Is there a solid tire thread someone can point me to? Would like to keep stock wheels, truck is a lease, no plans to lift, etc

Somehow missed this reply in the thread. Not sure if you have already purchased tires yet but there is a thread in the 200 forum that has a database of tire sizes and breaks down by lift, tires, spacers etc. PM me if you can't find it.

It's always listed in the FAQ section...3 or 4 posts down... Here's a direct link: 200 Series Tire Size Database

Very excited to get into my new 2017 today. And it looks like I have my 2014 sold - overall solid day.

First impression? I will say the satellite radio is worlds better than the 2014. I know there has been considerable discussions about just how bad the reception could be. I could drive near a tree in the 14 and my satellite would lose reception. No such problems in the 17. The rear DVD screens suck but Im not going to fuss too much.

Are the BFG OEM size? beautiful rig brah!

Did you perhaps mean 275/70/18? Looks like BFGoodrich only sells MT's in 285/70/18.
My bad. 285/65/18.

As far as driving differences, it's hard to say. I never drove the 2017 with the stock tires. I did notice a difference when I put them on my 2014. My mileage and braking performance dropped a little bit. But I always thought the brakes sucked on the 200 until 2016 or so.

The 17 overall seems to get worse mileage than I was getting with the 2014. But I overall like the model a lot better.

I just changed out my P-rated, 285/60 R18 tires for my E-rated 285/65 R18s yesterday. I don't know if I truly (as opposed to imagined) fell a significant difference on braking or MPG but that could have to do as much with driving style. What I do notice is that the snow tires use the stock PSI and therefore feel a bit more comfy than the E-rated/stiffer, 42 psi KO2s. That of course is expected when you move from a passenger car tire to a light truck tire.

They looked like OEM size. I was not sure. I'm going 285/65/18 or perhaps 275/70/18 with suspension. I just don't want to have acceleration and braking suffer for looks. I'm more of a go than show person.
Thanks for the info brah!

I looked at the spreadsheet for tire sizes and it shows 285 65 18's don't have issues, but wanted to confirm before pulling the trigger that with stock wheels and suspension I can fit 285 65 18's (~1" increase) on a '17 Land Cruiser without any rub or potential damage to fenders during full articulation? I plan on going with ICON or BP-51's but that won't happen till next year.
