Wrap bar is done, and shocks are ready to mount front and rear. We left everything off so we could clean the axles one last time and get a couple of good coats of primer and paint on them. Everything should bolt right up afterwards.

Brakes are done...plumbed, tested, and bled on all four corners.

Sometime on the 10th of February I made a punch list of stuff left to be done; it was flat depressing. I'm pretty sure we knocked more than 95% of that list out this week. Jrob is a machine....we covered a lot of ground in the past few days. You have no idea how much I appreciate it, brother!

Good times...she's coming together.

What length shocks you go with?

Where you mounting the tips of the rears?

14" in the front and 11" in the rear. Was hoping to be able to fit 12" in the rear but couldn't make it happen without violating the Bossman 30 degree rule.

Tops of the rear shocks will be mounted to the back of the rear cross member.

Did you do new upper shock towers in front?

Also, what shocks did you get? I saw bill stein but what model/rate

Damn I missed a lot while I was off drinkin'
Looking good JT!

Finished priming and painting everything under the truck Friday night.

Got the shocks on, bezel sanded, primed, and painted, and buttoned up everything on the front end Saturday morning:

I kinda liked the look of the crusty old bib. The silent partner in this build, who, as Bodean noted, has 50% of the money and 100% of a much more influential currency, however, did not. As such, on Sunday morning, I commenced to taking the front end back apart. The bib became the test piece for the candidate paint color...ACE Safety Blue rattle can. Properly sanded, primed, and wet sanded to 600 grit per Jrob standards:

And a couple coats of said paint:

It's actually a pretty close match. I'll get couple more pics after it's reassembled.

Seats were delivered Saturday afternoon. Late that evening Jrob went into mad scientist mode and fabbed up a wicked cage attached seat mount assembly. The seats and console fit very well. Seeing all this put together was just about as sweet as hearing her fire up last weekend:

The cage is out right now, so I'll get some better pics of this after I clean up some of my s***ty welds. Note - My welding still sucks, so I only got to melt some of the seat bracket together...Jrob is taking care of all the critical cage stuff.

Here we test the cage's ability to support the truck on her lid:

Joking, of course.
