I have atleast 10# left in mine. Need any air tools?

I have the basics, but more can never hurt, plus we will need a timing light to set the timing I would assume and any other toools usually used to swap and engine along with clutch and flywheel. Thanks.

I'll throw my air compressor(40gal) in the back with the big impact, clutch alignment tool, FSM, and anything else I can think of. Do we need a hoist? Engine stand? Beer ? Dancing girls?

Got an engine hoist and stand.

Should I just go ahead and get the dual case adapter so we can put that in as well :D :D

If anyone else has work they need done, we can do some as well, we should have about 7-8 guys that have some pretty good know-how.

I am really bummed that I'm gonna miss this tech day. Hope all goes well for you fellas.

Please tell me more, I am going to get a Trail Gear one eventually, but if you have one, we could do that as well Satuday, maybe. I already have another top shift t-case to use.

the one i have is a trail gear adapter, i bought a complete drivetrain for my buggy project(rebuilt 22re, g52, dual cases, and 4.7's in the rear case), as of right now, the trans/tcases are all assembled, only reason i want to sell it is because i want to lower my drivetrain as much as possible and still have a flat belly skid, so i want to order marlin's clocked adapter;p

i was kinda thinking of waiting until i get the marlin adapter and installed, so i dont have my tcases opened up for long, if you want it, you can have first dibs, but i dont know if i'll even have a chance to pull it apart this week

Well, let me know, cause if I order today or tomorrow, I can have a Trail Gear setup to my office by Friday. What are you asking for it?? I couls also just get the front crawl box and adapter setup from you and give you one of my other cases for ease of removal and install.

awe just pull it ;) JT would be stoked and it might light the fire you've been missing from under your arse to get some s*** done:lol::lol::lol:

...and make room for my mini:flipoff2:

Win Win situation :D

Oops, looks like the crawl box you have is for a forward shift tranny, I have a W56 and need a top shift, looks like I would need just the adapter and associated parts.

blah blah blah...the zuk will be movable today or tomorrow, just not done yet;p...i'll have room for the mini soon enough:flipoff2:
besides, selling the adapter just means more work for me to do, and more $ to spend too;p

and yeah jt my front case is a forward shift, if i were to post the adapter for sale i was going to ask for $300 shipped, the parts were installed, and have never been ran once yet, would $275 work for ya?...if you really want it before this weekend i'll make the time to get it pulled apart;)...ill just have to place my order with marlin sooner than i was thinking:D

I can do $275 if we want to install it Saturday as well, it is 21 spline correct? Don't want you to kill your self though if you have more pressing stuff.

It would be sweet if we could get the engine swapped and install dual cases, just hope the engine going in doesn't have any issues and we can gettting running well. Probably wouldn't take too long to swap in duals with the number of people.

yeah its 21 spline, and its not that big of a deal, the only thing i have to do this week other than work in the shop is go hunting:D..i have a couple cages i'd really like to get done and outta the way, but if i dont its no big deal;p

Ok John, if it isn't too much trouble, I'll take it for Saturday and hopefully we can install it too. Probably just re-weld the stock shafts or I can tackle that later depending on time.

I guess we will need any of the required/special tools for a dual case install as well.

So what time are you planning to start JT?

I will be bringing a pack and play for Eva to nap around noon in a room if ya have a room she can use. This assumes we are starting in the AM.

Can I bring my "Pack and Play" too. I could go for a nap around noon time... :D
So what time are you planning to start JT?
Earliest I can be there is about 7:30 if I leave here at 5:30AM. Hopefully the turnpike will be clear by then.
See you all Saturday!

Yeah, Eva can sleep in Addy's room , Addy usually goes down around 11:00 or so and is out for about 2 hours, so that should work out well.

As for starting time, I will be in the shop probably between 7 and 7:30 to fire up the heater so it isn't too cold :D I was out there last night without the heat and it wasn't bad at all. So pretty much whenever you want to show up, but I would imagine the earlier the better incase of any issues.
